PHED 1051 - Introduction to Rock Climbing

Credits: 1 Fall, Spring

An introduction to the sport of Rock Climbing. Class topics will include technique, styles of climbing, safety concerns, equipment usage, ethics, and basic anchor construction. Required experiential exercises outside of class will include actual climbing in order to apply concepts learned in the classroom. Open to all classifications.
