MUCL 4312 - Music History III: Romantic to the Present

Credits: 2 Spring

A study of the music of Western Civilization c. 1825 to the present including corresponding developments in music of the Americas and non-western traditions. This course emphasizes stylistic and aural analysis of the music and considers parallel trends in the visual arts.

Prerequisites: Senior standing or permission of the instructor.
