Material covered includes the debate over the American Revolution, Federalists versus Anti-federalists, Federalists versus Republicans, Jacksonian Democracy, Abolitionism versus the Positive Good defense of slavery, the Progressive and New Deal movements, and the Sexual Revolution, with possible extension to the contemporary era.
