This course emphasizes the theory and principles of global health care and community development. Organizations, agencies, and inter-professional roles will be explored. Common health care and community development issues found locally and around the world will be discussed.

Prerequisites: NURS 5003, NURS 5023, NURS 5033, and NURS 5053 or permission. Prerequisite courses not required for certificate programs.
