ART 3153 - 3D Modeling I Credits: 3 Fall
An introduction to 3D computer graphic environment. Students explore the basic functions of 3D space, object modeling, procedures in texture mapping, along with basic theories of digital lighting and rendering. Students learn how to construct models out of primitive shapes using polygons, NURBS and subdivisional surfaces to create hard surface models that replicate real world artifacts. A materials fee is charged.
Prerequisites: ART 1103 , ART 1113 , and ART 2323 .
