MUCL 4452 - Instrumental Literature for Music Education

Credits: 2 Fall

This course will serve as an introduction to meritorious music for the wind band and orchestra, with emphasis on the establishment and history of the wind band, exposure to original music of varying grade levels for the wind band and orchestra, and development of skills necessary to select appropriate repertoire for a school band and orchestra, with concentration on OSSAA repertoire lists. Additional fee required.
