SAR 6103 - Advanced Ethics in Sports

This course explores the complex moral and ethical issues within the world of sports. Students will study ethical dilemmas, values, principles, and controversies that shape the behavior and decisions of administrators, coaches, athletes, fans, and the broader sports industry. Issues that will be explored are the nature of sport, fair play and competition, ethical leadership, fan behavior and sportsmanship, and performance-enhancing drugs and technologies.
