SAR 6113 - Sport Law and Risk Management

This course is an in-depth study of the laws most relevant to sports professionals and prepare students to assess risk to lower liability. Building on students’ previous studies of sports law, the course will strengthen their understanding and appreciation of important legal and risk aspects pertaining to sports. Special attention is given to negligence law, constitutional law, contract law, and case studies.
