Chemical bonding, physical chemistry of liquids and solutions; nature of chemical changes and energy changes accompanying such change; structural theory of organic chemistry. Laboratory is required. Additional fee required. Note: CHEM 1054 and CHEM 1063 together will substitute for CHEM 1105.

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in CHEM 1054
