OCTH 6142 - Human Development and Occupational Performance Credits: 2
This course explores human development and occupational performance across the lifespan. Students will examine physical, social-emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development, recognizing that each person is uniquely designed and valued by God at every stage of life. The curriculum will delve into the environmental and contextual factors that influence performance, understanding that our surroundings can either enhance or challenge our ability to fulfill our God-given purpose. Students will investigate typical and atypical changes in normative life tasks and occupational roles and consider how these changes relate to the broader themes of community, environment, culture, and faith.
