OCTH 6232 - Kinesiology and Occupational Performance Credits: 2
This course explores the relationship between kinesiology, biomechanics, and occupational performance, emphasizing the belief that understanding the human body is a way to honor and care for God’s creation. With a focus on analyzing dysfunction, students will apply concepts from kinesiology and biomechanics to enhance their understanding of how to support individuals in their healing journeys. The course includes an in-person experiential lab component, allowing students to engage in hands-on learning that reinforces their commitment to serving others with compassion and integrity to improve the quality of life of those in need.
