OCTH 6354 - Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Interventions I: Psychosocial Conditions Credits: 4
In this course, students will review common psychosocial conditions across the lifespan and the associated functional deficits. Students will apply historical and current models of practice as part of the occupational therapy process for the evaluation and intervention of psychosocial conditions and community problems. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of holistic care that addresses both physical and spiritual needs. The course includes an in-person experiential lab component, allowing students to practice interventions in simulated and real-world environments.
