BTHS 6033 - Hebrew Syntax and Exegesis I Credits: 3
Advanced readings of selected texts from the Hebrew Bible including representative readings from historical narratives, legal literature, prophetic texts, wisdom writings, and psalms. The course is designed to enable the student to acquire and maintain proficiency in reading the various types of Hebrew literature comprising the Hebrew Bible, with an emphasis on building vocabulary and developing reading competence. Particular attention will be given to matters of syntax and morphology with advanced exegetical practice.
