PA 7209 - Clinical Rotations Block III

Credits: 9 Fall

Third course to transition students from didactic to clinical training. Students will be assigned to two separate clinical rotations selected from: Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Behavioral Medicine, Surgery, and an elective. Each student must participate in each of the seven core rotations and an elective by the end of the Clinical Field Placement Series. Successful completion of a clinical rotation allows the student to progress to the next rotation. This course provides a weekly opportunity for students to discuss their learning and experiences on clinical rotations. Opportunity to analyze End of Rotation (EOR) exam results to address deficit areas.
