In Person Courses
- The MDiv offers a unique 16 week in-person option available to current students. The in-person courses are stacked with corresponding undergraduate courses. The two levels will meet in conjunction with one another, but MDiv students will have a separate syllabus with additional assignments, lengthened papers, more rigorous assessments, and/or other learning and teaching opportunities. Online Courses
- Our integrated classes are offered in the traditional graduate format of 8-week online classes.
Fees
- Students taking integrated courses will be charged a fee of $100/course.
Limits
- The MDiv program allows up to 24 hours of credit through integrated courses taken during the student’s undergraduate program.
- Only grades of “C” or better will be accepted.
Transfer Credit
Students may transfer credits toward up to half of the credit for the MDiv program, including credits from a completed graduate degree. Transfer credit requests will be carefully evaluated by program directors/academic administration and are not automatically granted. In the case of courses ineligible to be transferred by the routine transfer process, exceptions are rare but are approved administrative actions facilitated by the Academic Dean and voted on by Council for Online, Nontraditional, and Graduate Education.
Advanced Standing
Advanced standing can be granted if a student previously completed a degree related to the fields of biblical studies, theology, or ministry from a CCCU or IABCU institution with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Upon review of the transcript, up to 12 hours can be awarded for the MDiv.

- Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in all OBU coursework.
- Fulfillment of all financial obligations to the University.
