PHYS 2514 - University Physics I Credits: 4 Fall
A calculus-based introductory physics course in classical mechanics with coverage including (but not necessarily limited to) the following topics: vectors, linear motion, rotational motion, forces, Newton’s Laws, gravitation, statics, moments of inertia, conservation principles (energy, momentum, angular momentum), coordinate systems, and oscillations. Laboratory required. Additional fee required.
Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in MATH 2204 .
