Purpose

The Division of Language and Literature cultivates learners who read, write, think, and speak in pursuit of wisdom, career success, and a good life. Rooted in the Christian liberal arts tradition, we accomplish this work by guiding students toward truth and beauty in works of literature, equipping them with creative and analytical writing skills for today’s world, and growing their love for language and culture.
