Program Admissions Requirements
- Complete OBU admissions requirements.
- Complete School of Nursing admission requirements and application.
- All official transcripts must be received by January 15th to begin the program.
- Completion of a State Board approved LPN program.
- All prerequisite coursework for admission into the professional program of study in Nursing must be completed by the end of the fall semester.
- Proof of a current unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in the state of Oklahoma or a multistate license.
Based on a current unencumbered LPN license the following advanced placement credits will be awarded after completion of the first (spring) semester in the program:

Program Requirements
No D’s will be accepted in the supportive core, the prerequisite and supportive courses, CHEM 1124, MATH 1163, or in courses comprising Nursing majors and minors. Common Core for B.S. Nursing - Credits: 35
