ACCT 6543 - Auditing Credits: 3
This graduate-level course will focus on preparation for the Auditing and Attestation (AUD) section of the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam. The topics include the most recent auditing concepts, standards, principles, and procedures. In addition, a significant portion of the course includes professional ethics, auditors’ legal responsibilities, electronic data processing (EDP) control systems, audit sampling, and audit reports. Case studies are a significant aspect of the course design.
