SLP 4023 - Speech and Language Development


Credits: 3

This course offers a detailed exploration of the typical development of speech and language from infancy through adolescence. Students will develop an understanding of the influence of social and environmental factors and cultural and linguistic diversity on speech and language acquisition. Emphasis will be placed on the application of knowledge of development to evaluation and treatment of communication disorders.

Prerequisites: SLP 3003 SLP 3023 , and SLP 4003 .
